Carlton Reunion (shocked and horrified)

As I'm walking up Southbridge and by crossing high street and now walking down Northbridge en route to the Carlton to pick up my p45 I run into an old friend of mine back in the hotel days. (listen to me talk like it's been years, in reality it's been weeks) Kasia was the friend that I ran into and I was so happy to see her and we hugged and kissed (socially of course) and we just talked for a bit outside and realized how "baltic" it was and well we went to the infamous bank hotel, knowing that something could happen if I wasn't watching out.

Approaching the bank hotel I kept saying that "you need to tell me everything that has happened since I've been gone" and boy did she?

Turns out that a certain co-worker was talking "trash" about me being gone and others were not keeping their lips closed. As well as it was disturbing, I couldnt' help but remember that bad press is good press and as long as they are talking about me then their wasting their time good or bad, so there!

Basically from about 330 to 5pm we caught up over drinks and about 5 minutes from being on the 2nd floor of the bar, Isobel, Dutchess of blackpool, and unknown "poof" #1 walked up and Isobel's regard of my presence was somewhat frigid as it would be for an ice queen with it's arch enemy. I couldn't be bothered with it and well we kept catching up and through and through at moments would try to listen in on what they were saying and etc. Turns out the new HHK is a total See you Next Tuesday and I doubt her days at the hotel will last much longer.

We parted ways as soon as I found out I had to be at work (not knowing they wanted me back at Inland Revenue) Exchanged kisses, e-mail, and mobile numbers...
She'll be one that I miss the most
